Education is the back-bone of the society. It makes the human beings different from animals. It also strengthens the nation. Teachers imparting education to their students are called nation-builders because children of today are citizens of future.
Educational Institutions are the parameters to measure and assess the standard of the society. Among the different educational institutions Teachers educator institutions play very important roles, because they prepare the teaches to build the nations.
GOVERNMENT TEACHER’S TRAINING COLLEGE, SAHARSA, that is going to be known as “COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION (CTE) in the education department, was established by the Govt. of Bihar, on 26.03.1976. This institution has always been ahead in Bihar by imparting teacher education from very beginning of its establishment.
This is founded in the koshi Divisional headquarter, SAHARSA (Bihar) having connectivity with all sides of both rail-road communications. The institution stands at arm’s length in the north from Saharsa Railway Stations and the Bus stand having a distance of only one kilometer. This is one of the best training colleges of Bihar.
Saharsa is called the land of Shree Ugratara-Bharti-Mandan and very renowned saint of this region named Shree Shree 108 Lakshimi Nath Gosai popularly known as ”Babajee.” This is the fact that “AADI GURU SHANKARACHARYA” came to Mandan-dham ( Mahishi, Saharsa) to do shashtartha with Mandan Mishra, a great scholar and saint of that time residing there. Really this is very cultured and furtile land of knowledge.
